Academic requirements for taking KKN courses
- Enrolled as an active student
- KKN course is mandatory for Diploma 4, undergraduate, and proffesional program students of Universitas Gadjah Mada, with a weight of 8 credit hours within a minimum period of 2 months or equivalent to 288 working hours effectively in the field.
- Have completed a minimum of 96 credit hours of coursework and practicum without receiving an E grade (according to the Rector’s Decision of Universitas Gadjah Mada).
- Registered as a participant of KKN-PPM in the faculty, evidenced by the KRS (Course Registration Form) in the semester when KKN-PPM is conducted.
- Follow up on the Circular Letter of the Vice Rector for Education and Teaching, and Student Affairs Number 3889/UN1.P.I/DIR-PP/DI/2020 regarding the Completion of Data in SIA Simaster, we hereby convey information on changes to the KRS system for KKN-PPM UGM activities, as follows:

- KKN for period 1 is recorded in the even semester’s KRS.
- KKN for period 2 is recorded in the inter-semester’s KRS.
- KKN for period 3 is recorded in the odd semester’s KRS.
- KKN for period 4 is recorded in the even semester’s KRS.

- Not currently taking any courses or practicum.
- For female students, not currently pregnant.
- Verification of the list of KKN-PPM participant candidates is carried out by the faculty to the Directorate of Community Service and Student Affairs (DPKM) through the faculty’s administrative simaster.
- KKN-PPM activities are recognized with 8 credits, with the breakdown as follows:
UNU222001 KKN-PPM 4 credits
UNU222002 Public Communication 2 credits
UNU222003 Application of Appropriate Technology 2 credits for students in the science and agricultural cluster, or UNU222004 Application of Knowledge Management 2 credits for students in the social sciences, humanities, and health cluster.
Administration requirements
- Verification of academic and administrative requirements of KKN-PPM participant candidates is carried out by the academic department of the faculty.
- Verified as KKN-PPM participants by the Faculty’s Administration.
- KKN-PPM participant candidates are required to attend orientation, general test, and health test for KKN-PPM according to the specified schedule.
- KKN-PPM participants are those who have been registered in simaster.ugm.ac.id and have attended the KKN orientation fully, have completed the General Test, and passed the health test.
